We did the first photo guest book last night at Lisa and David’s wedding. We took photos of each table complete and then photos of each couple. Each couple then wrote a card with wishes/advice etc – bit late to say ‘don’t do it’. Photos printed last night. We wil be giving a CD of the photos as loads of guests asked for copies!!!!!! Defnitely the ultimate momento of your wedding.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say a huge thank you. My wedding was perfect, it all ran so smoothly. The Marinas was fantastic, I loved the table settings. I really felt that the setting was magical. I honestly cannot find a single fault with anything.

Working with you was a pleasure as I felt 100% confident from the start that everything would be done right. In actual fact things were done to perfection. The cake floored me as I was not expecting 5 layers lol. Both Tommy and I are just so thrilled and had the most positive experience possible.

I truly cannot say enough positives about Celebrations in Spain as a company. I feel that you all go above and beyond and are so professional. Either you or Janet seem to instantly reply to emails with help and advice. Both you and your husband are pleasant and professional prior to the wedding but especially on the day. Can I just say Mags is an absolute gem, everyone at my wedding loved her. She is always ready to help and always smiling.

In short thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Tommy lived every moment of the day and is still emotional about the experience. It truly was the best day of our life.

Just an hour from Malaga airport inland is Antequera. Just outside the town the golf course has been there for a few years now but at one end of the course a converted Convent is now a luxury 5 star hotel. With many terraces and function rooms this is a hotel to suit any size of wedding. The style of the convent has been maintained. The views are amazing. There are 21 rooms in the hotel. for more guests the sister hotel – the Antequera Golf hotel is at the other end of the golf course close by. Menus and photos to be posted on Celebrations in Spain later this week.

Had a great day in the office updating my web site. There a more brides from the 2010 files and testimonials from many happy bunnies.
I have updated the wedding favours and also the room decoration pages to incorporate the latest weddings.
No venturing out this weekend – too many people descending on the coast for their holidays. I will let them clog up the roads and then venture out again on Monday.

We had 3 weddings on Saturday – never again and due to change of date and we survived.
Special thanks to Mags and Neil for dealing with very large wedding in Nerja with very little help moving the guests from the groomsmen.
Special thanks to Sharon for setting up the room at the Guadalmina after we could not get in early due to breakfast being served. The room looked amazing.
Also special thanks the Shona who ran around like an idiot setting up the church in San Pedro then went back to Guadalmina to do the set up there.
The days went well (except for san Pedro taxis letting us down) but out of control and have have great feedback.

Congratulations to Roisin and Tony married yesterday at El Salvador with drinks reception (ice cream and cava -great – eh?) on Cochran’s terrace, dinner at the Balcon de Europa and then football and dancing at decorated and looking very pretty Papagayo’s.

Yesterday we did a villa wedding at Roca Rara in Nerja. Catering Lucia did the food and they offered exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was incredible. They had tailor made the menus to the specifications of the couple in advance. They came in and transformed the villa in a couple of hours. Everything that we asked of them was carried out quickly and efficiently. I can’t wait to work with them again.

We organised a day after party at the La Barca restaurant in Burriana Beach, Nerja last night. It was amazing. For 15 euros per person they provided salad, calamares, paella, chicken and ribs. Everyone commented that the food was fantastic and the only complaint was they were very full!!!! Thank you to Paco and his team that were very attentive and offered great service.

Bianca and Ciaran got married at Frigiliana church and then reception at Marinas de Nerja last week. The day was lovely. This is her comments.

Well we’re back home from spain and god how sad it is that everything is now over.

Both Ciaran and myself wanted say a massive thank you to you Kerry, janet and your team for such a wonderful day!! We really couldn’t have wished for anything better. It was exactly what we wanted, and we wouldn’t have been able to do this without you!!!
It really has made the whole day brilliant with your help and everything being perfect. We really cannot thank you enough. We wish you all the best for the future and will recommend you to everyone.

We also wish Bianca and Ciaran all the best for a long and happy life together.

I have finally had chance to add some more brides onto my web site from this year.
I have also completely changed the photos of the Playamaro hotel in Maro. This small family run hotel offers great value for money, out door dining and incredible attention to detail. It is close to Maro church and only 15 minutes from Nerja church. With the credit crunch upon us I am very surprised that they don’t have many more weddings.
